Terms of Service

By accessing or using the b4Exams platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, students, teachers, and other users of the Platform.

b4Exams is an online marketplace that connects students preparing for international exams (such as IELTS, SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, USMLE, and others) with verified expert tutors. The Platform provides tools for booking lessons, conducting video sessions, tracking progress, and exchanging messages.

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@b4exams.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, ratings, or platform policies is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.

4.1 Teacher Verification

All teachers on b4Exams are subject to an identity verification and credential review process. However, b4Exams does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by teachers and is not liable for any misrepresentation by teachers.

4.2 Independent Contractors

Teachers on b4Exams are independent contractors, not employees of b4Exams. b4Exams is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the services provided by teachers.

4.3 Teacher Obligations

Teachers agree to: provide accurate profile information and credentials; conduct lessons professionally and punctually; not solicit students to transact outside the b4Exams platform; not engage in discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior; and comply with all applicable laws.

4.4 Earnings and Payouts

Teachers receive 75% of every lesson fee paid by students. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. b4Exams retains 25% as a platform fee. b4Exams reserves the right to withhold payouts if fraud or policy violations are suspected.

5.1 Lesson Fees

All lesson fees are displayed in USD and are charged at the time of booking. Prices are set by individual teachers and are subject to change. b4Exams uses Stripe for secure payment processing.

5.2 Trial Lesson Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your trial lesson, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of the lesson ending. To request a refund, contact support@b4exams.com with your booking ID. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

5.3 Cancellation Policy

Lessons cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the start time are non-refundable, except in cases of teacher no-show or verified technical failure on the b4Exams platform.

5.4 Disputes

In the event of a payment dispute, b4Exams will investigate and make a determination based on available evidence. Our decision is final. Initiating a chargeback with your bank without first contacting b4Exams may result in account suspension.

You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; harass, abuse, or harm other users; attempt to circumvent the Platform by arranging off-platform payments; scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission; introduce malware or attempt to hack the Platform; create fake reviews or manipulate ratings; or impersonate any person or entity.

7.1 Platform Content

All content on the b4Exams platform — including logos, design, text, graphics, software, and data — is the property of b4Exams Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

By submitting content to the Platform (such as profile photos, bios, reviews, or lesson materials), you grant b4Exams a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, b4Exams shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. b4Exams's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to b4Exams in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. b4Exams does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. b4Exams does not guarantee that any teacher will improve your exam scores.

b4Exams reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@b4exams.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in London, United Kingdom, in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
